I'm tempted to refuse to give answers to questions when you already know the answer. instead I'll give you a little story that may help.

I have a spoon, it was made for one specific purpose, to get my breakfast from my bowl to my mouth. this is the purpose I bought it for too, and for a time it filled its purpose pretty well, I rarely spilled with it, it was easy to clean and the handle was comfortable to hold. I couldnt ask more from my spoon, however.

one day I decided I wanted to prop my door open to let some air into my room, it turns out the spoon was pretty handy for that and it dug into the carpet nicely.

as the day wore on, not only was my room air flow much better, but I could talk to my housemates as they passed by, have conversations that let us know each other better and all in all, the door being open made my day a whole lot better and I was happier for it.

now I know without a doubt the purpose the spoon was made for, why it exists. but if the spoon was conscious, and asked me what the meaning of its existance was, what right do I have to say it should just be food transport for a few minutes each day, when it is making life better for me and everyone I know by neglecting its purpose.

I think our existance is similar to the spoon, whatever our reason is for being, we arent told outright because either we are allready doing it, or more likely, we have ourselves, found something better to do with life.
